The Cultural Center will be re-opening on Monday June 1st.
We are very excited to announce we will be re-opening the center on a very limited basis on Monday, June 1st. Things we be a lot different, and we will be phasing in at a much slower pace than many other business. We recognize that our patrons are more at risk, and the health and safety of the community is a priority. We do recognize that people need some normalcy in their lives right now and we want to provide a bit of that to our many long time patrons and supporters.
Our 1st phase of re-opening will begin Monday June 1st at 9am. The main entrance located on Gertrude St. will be the only open entrance.
We will be allowing 10 patrons in the building at one time. Anyone entering the building must be wearing a face covering, and your temperature will be taken before you enter. We cannot stress enough, if you have a fever or are feeling ill it is best that you stay home.
Volunteers, because of the vulnerable age demographic of our valued volunteers, we will only be operating with a limited paid staff at this time . We will notify volunteers once we begin to phase in different departments and feel it is safe for everyone to begin coming back.
Retail Shops will be open from 9am-3pm. We ask that everyone follows safe social distancing practices, and follow all directional guidelines when entering the shops. Dressing rooms will be closed, and we will be strictly enforcing our no returns or exchanges policies. We will begin to accept donations Monday as well. Donations, can be made at the receiving dock located behind the building. The rear of the building can be accessed via the Stillwater St. entrance of the parking lot. Donations will only be accepted Monday- Friday from 10am-2pm.
At this time, the learning place and fitness center will remain closed. There will be no games, or group meetings.
As always we appreciate your support of the center. We will continue to place the most up to date information regarding operation on our website theculturalcenter.com and our Facebook page.
