The Cultural Center is an amazing, multi-faceted organization that wouldn’t be able to function without the generosity of the community. Volunteers are the life’s blood of the organization, and we are so grateful for their participation. Food Service - Volunteers are needed in many areas of the Cultural Center's food service department. The Cafe serves breakfast and lunch Monday - Saturday, and lunch on Sunday. Volunteers are needed to take orders, prep food, serve food, bus tables, cashier and perform other dining room functions.
Information Desk - We're always looking for individuals to greet visitors to the Cultural Center. Our Information Desk is the first place visitors stop. A person with a smiling face who can direct them is always in demand. Computer skills are a must for this area, as it serves as a second ticket sales location.
Box Office Associates – Computer literate volunteers are encouraged to assist in this area selling tickets for shows, special events and other happenings on the property.
Drivers – Individuals are needed to assist seniors in getting to their essential appointments. Stops at the grocery store, pharmacy, bank and post office are also possible. The vehicle will be provided. Must have valid Florida Driver’s License and clear driving record.
The Fitness Salon – Volunteers needed to check in members on various days each week. Computer and mechanical skills are beneficial.
Retail Sales Associates - Retail Sales Associates work in the retail stores of the Center as cashiers.
The Learning Place - The Cultural Center's continuing education facility is always looking for volunteers to work in The Learning Place. You will assist in the registration of students, provide information about classes and meet some very nice people in the process.
Delivery Truck – A volunteer is needed on Wednesday from 8:30 am until 2 pm to go out on our truck for deliveries and pickups for our Thrift Shops. They must be able to lift 50 pounds and be in good physical condition.
Building Maintenance – Experienced painters are needed for interior painting of the Cultural Center.
